Initial training provides you with best-practice, knowledge and expertise to start your franchise. Likewise, the initial training introduces you to our support framework.
Training takes place either at the Client Services Centre, Hampshire, or an alternative venue. The initial training takes place over several consecutive days. This allows you to fully immerse yourself in the brand and concepts, systems and people. Importantly, we will work with you on your business plan and marketing approach.

In the first place, introducing you to as many of the Daisy family as possible! These people are part of your ‘team’; moreover, their work and input will help you succeed. Remember, it’s your business, but you’re part of the Daisy team.
The brand values
Understanding the Driving Miss Daisy® branding is essential. Furthermore, franchisees protecting and using the brand correctly builds the brand name nationally.
You have bought into the concept of Driving Miss Daisy® and we cover the values, culture and ethos of the brand. Supporting this, is your Franchise Resource Pack, in an easy reference modular format.
Business plans and marketing
By the same token, developing your business plan and marketing programme is an essential outcome of the training.
Also included is the construction of your initial 90-day plan, network presentations and social media.
Operations, clients and vehicles
As important as the brand values, business plans and marketing, is operations. This covers all aspects of service delivery, from taking a booking through to client satifaction. Related to this, we go through our various Policies and procedures and guidelines.
Recruitment for growth, pricing, vehicles and clients and CSC services, are covered.
Additional aspects of training
Together with the training outlined above, we deliver a bespoke First-Aid programme. As well as First-Aid, we incorporate positive handling, wheelchair training and a Dementia Friends session.
